Registered Clinical Counsellor
Ginna has over 20 years experience as a clinical counsellor in hospitals and in the community, providing individual, couples and family therapy, including working with children and youth. She is well versed in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, and Mindfulness-based methods, incorporating Breath work and other meditative techniques.
Ginna has extensive experience in supporting people with anxiety, depression, ADHD and Borderline Personality Disorder, as well as serious mental illness, trauma and addiction. Her approach is collaborative and inclusive of all genders, ethnicity and (sub)cultural backgrounds. It is grounded in the principles of recovery, harm reduction and social justice.
Ginna strongly believes that no matter how much we are struggling, with support, patience and self-compassion, we can begin to make sense of it and move towards our vision of a different future.
