Rachelle Sayers
Rachelle’s happiest when she’s on the move, exploring trails, playing ball, or finding her balance in yoga, often with her loyal dog by her side. She’s well known for losing track of time in creative projects or getting lost in a good book.

Rachelle is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with a Master of Counselling and a background in psychology and community-based mental health support. She works with adults navigating life transitions, burnout, anxiety, grief, shifting relationships, identity questions, or that persistent sense of being stuck or behind. Many of the folks she supports are neurodivergent (ADHD), LGBTQ+, creative, or those in high-pressure or fast-changing environments.
Rachelle’s approach challenges deficit-based views of mental health and neurodivergence. She sees emotional struggles as meaningful responses to life’s complexity, shaped by context, relationships, and lived experience. Her work helps people reconnect with the skills and strengths they already have, while also creating space for them to build new ones along the way.
Her style is warm, collaborative, approachable, and creative. She welcomes thoughtful reflection and the occasional laugh. She draws from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), systems-based approaches, Narrative Therapy, and CBT, all viewed through a trauma-informed, socially conscious, and neurodiversity-affirming lens. With a lifelong connection to movement and sport, Rachelle holds a special interest in working with athletes and others exploring who they are beyond their roles, especially during times of transition, identity shifts, or life after competition.
